Building Hope
Meeting the daily needs of an impoverished community can at times seem overwhelming, but one family at a time, TMWL is making an impact. Through feeding people, providing medical attention, donating clothing, diapers and formula, building, repairing, and bringing electricity to homes, buying appliances, funding children's education and simply loving people in a tangible way, however the Lord would lead, for many the future is filled with hope.
Frank and Deborah
In June of 2014 the Lord called me to Mexico as a full time missionary. Where I met my husband Frank who was a translator for our missions group, our friendship blossomed into love and we were married in June of 2015. We have been in Cerro Azul full time since October of 2015. We are blessed to be the hands and feet for this ministry "To Mexico with Love". Living in the community on a daily basis has enabled us to achieve so much more for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We are able to build hope for those that we encounter in need. We have recently started a mercy fund where we have funds available for emergency's as they arise. From simply giving someone a ride to a doctor's appointment or buying medication for someone or helping with the cost of lab work. The list goes on but as you can imagine we are able to be a huge blessing to those in this community. All because of your generous donations to this cause. We live completely by faith. "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes" (Mark 9:23) Allowing ourselves to be vessels for the glory of God! We want those that we encounter to see Jesus in us, His love through action.
Team Mexico
The Lord has blessed us with a team of people who live in Mexico and have a desire to serve the people of Mexico. Bringing hope and love on a daily basis to those we serve.
Landfill Ministry
Each month we take a trip to the Tijuana landfill and spread the love of Jesus. Prayer, food, clothing, hygiene and most of all friendship! By going each month we are able to make lasting connections with the people who call this landfill home.
Men's home: Rescued, Redeemed and Restored.
We have had a vision of a men's home to help the people living in the landfill to come out and begin again. In 2022 the dream began to blossom. We started with one person living on our property in a small travel trailer and 4 months later we received a 2nd person and in September of 2022 we rented a house across the street from us. Currently both gentlemen are doing very well and the plan is to receive more people as the Lord sees fit. Our goal is to eventually buy a property for them and have a large facility. It is a 3 year program, the first 18 months is a rehabilitation/re-entry, identity training program and the 2nd part of the program is more of a sober living type of atmosphere with them going to work and also contributing to the home. We believe Jesus is the answer to all of the issues that lead a person to a life of drugs and hoplessness so our main focus is Jesus and leading a God centered life. We will also teach practical skills for living and re-entry back into the world. Plus job skills or trade school depending on their desires.
